The End of the World

Aphrodite's Child. good stuff. Never mind that they are completely insane and the lyrics make no sense. "Come with me to the end of the world"? No idea.

My Carter Family Curiosity

It would be cool to see another group like this get big. Not every band has a female upright bass player who also sings.

My Bloody Valentine

I like the camera work. I want any video of me to be in slow motion and taken through a white veil of fog.

a woman

anyone who has looked at my video blog would probably notice that there aren't many videos from female artists. yes, that is a problem.
it may be that as a male musician, I identify more with male artists. But I'm not going to psycho-analyze myself.
The fact is I love many female artists.
so I now begin my new installments featuring women.

if you don't know of Cage, he's a reformed battle rapper. now he talks about mental illness recovery, pain and tumult. but still..this was sick, and you don't have to read too deep. the pain was and is there. wait for the second verse.

Rage covers Ghost of Tom Joad

I just saw Rage Against the Machine in Chicago. They are still as vital as they were when I first bought their debut album on cassette in middle school. I knew the world was a messed up place then, as I know it now..But I am a bit more optimistic in my outlook. This is a Bruce Springsteen song. Tom Joad is a character from the book "The Grapes of Wrath" by John Steinbeck.

Dolly Parton and friends.

good beats

Love the drummer from The Band. This may be good ol' boy music, but the drummer is straight hip hop. or maybe some hip hop producers are influenced by The Band, and they don't even know it? food for thought

Communion- theme music

One of my favorite thing by Eric Clapton that ALMOST NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT. The rest of the clip is fairly inconsequential, though it is always fun to watch Christopher Walken go bonkers.

The Big Bopper gets the ladies

more classic stuff. I don't know who's on the other end of the phone, but she's falling for him!
